A couple weeks ago we received our 2011 Vacation planning DVD in the mail. We don’t order one every year but wanted to get the 2011 since it has been redone for the new “theme” which I love by the way.
We ate dinner got the kid to bed and sat down on the couch and watch the DVD. Nothing to much different. I like they had a Disney for the little ones clip on our DVD. Especially since this is our first time doing Disney with a little one. Then we did the extras, and what is quickly mentioned but In Room Celebrations. So of course I made The Hubs do some digging. We are going to be there for Belle’s birthday ya know.
The Hubs of course found it and sent me the link. I spent the day reading about the In Room Celebration for Birthday’s. I sounds amazing. They didn’t miss a single detail when planning this. Right down to Tinker Belle’s shadow and Donald leaving feathers behind. I quickly emailed The Hubs back telling him how badly I wanted to do this for Belle. The link he sent me of course didn’t have prices and told you to call for pricing information.
The in room celebration for birthday’s starts with a door sash announcing a birthday. Then you walk into your room to see it decorated with a banner and balloon, and get this FIVE gifts. A gift each from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and of course Pluto. Plus a framed picture of the group, and an autograph book signed by Mickey Mouse. Embroidered ears with her name, a plush Mickey Mouse, and a light up birthday lanyard. And a surprise from Tinker Belle.
While looking over the page one more time I found a link I missed the first time I read through it for more details. This page is even better. It goes into detail on where each gift will be places in your room and what is in each gift. Donald, Goofy, and Pluto’s gifts were kinda vague as to what is in the boxes but it sounds like she would end up with a lot.
And then I scrolled back up the page and found the price. My heart sank. It is quite expensive. The Hubs and I talked a little about it and agreed to wait until it got closer (and we actually have booked our trip) to decide. I still have hope that we can do this for the Peanut. She may only be two, but what a way to start off her second birthday.
I had to check out the other in room celebrations that they offer as well. Three different Princess Packages (child, adult, and junior) Welcome Home celebration, Holidays celebration, Triumph celebration, and Romantic Celebration. I immediately went to the Princess Celebrations. I have already started thinking about and may or may not have started planning our 2012 trip. It’s going to be a big trip with Belle’s third birthday in the middle. Third birthday? Bippity Boppity Boutique it is. First thing in the morning. She will be a Princess on her day. I read through the Princess package and then again saw the price. Wow. I thought the Birthday wish was expensive. But our 2012 trip is a big trip. If we don’t do the birthday wish this trip we will definitely be doing to Princess celebration the next trip. Belle is worth it.
I had to do some more research and get some reviews on the celebrations so I went to my favorite informative website and did some searches. I also found out that you can which day of your trip you would like your in room celebration and they will even work with you on a time. We could have them come while we are at dinner the night before her birthday. I think I would want it the night before. So she has all her special birthday stuff for her birthday. It depends on if we can have them do it on arrival day or not. If not we will have to figure out when on her birthday.
Belle is going to have the best birthday down in Disney. Of course the kid will probably get anything she wants while were there cause it’s her birthday. I can not wait to celebrate with her in Disney.
Here is the link in case you want to check them out. Disney In Room Celebrations.
